Participation Terms & Conditions for Events at Fertile Ground Health Group

At Fertile Ground, we are committed to creating safe, supportive, and enriching spaces for your wellbeing. Our events involve an evolving blend of gentle practices designed to help you reconnect - with your body, breath, and community.

Each session may include a variety of experiences, such as breathwork, meditation, gentle movement, acupuncture, ear seeds, herbal tea ceremony, creative expression, or conversations in natural health. We often welcome guest facilitators - including naturopaths, Chinese medicine practitioners, bodyworkers, and local community contributors - who bring their unique perspectives and healing offerings.

By booking into this event, you (the participant) acknowledge and agree to the following:

Participation and Personal Responsibility

You understand that practices shared during these sessions may influence your physical, emotional or energetic state. These may include, but are not limited to, breathwork, acupuncture, ear seeds, herbal preparations, movement or other therapeutic or wellbeing practices. You choose to participate voluntarily and take full responsibility for your own body, boundaries, and wellbeing throughout.

Health and Readiness

You confirm that you are in good health and feel confident participating. If you are pregnant, have a medical condition or injury, or am currently under medical care, you have consulted a healthcare professional before attending.

Listening to Your Body

You understand that it’s always okay to opt out, pause, or adjust any part of the session to suit your needs. You agree to communicate with facilitators if you feel unsure or require support during the session.

You acknowledge that while rare, there may be mild side effects such as skin irritation, bruising, temporary sensitivity, digestive changes, emotional release, or transient changes in wellbeing as a result of your participation.

Guided with Care

You agree to follow the guidance of the session leaders and guest facilitators, who are here to hold space and support the group safely and respectfully.

Release and Responsibility

You acknowledge that Fertile Ground (including the event organisers, facilitators, collaborators and volunteers) will provide the sessions with reasonable care and skill. While your consumer rights are still protected, you acknowledge that Fertile Ground isn't responsible for any indirect losses that might come up, and if there are any issues, their responsibility is limited to what you paid for the session.

Media and Promotion

You understand that photos or short videos may be taken during the session for use in promotional materials. If you'd prefer not to be included, you agree to let a team member know when you arrive.

Your Privacy & Confidentiality

By sharing your details with Fertile Ground, you're giving Fertile Ground permission to collect, use, store, and, when necessary, share your information as outlined in the Fertile Ground Privacy Policy. 

Fertile Ground may need to share your information with relevant team members or trusted third parties who assist in delivering the sessions.  For full details, you can access Fertile Ground’s Privacy Policy or ask anytime at reception@fertileground.com.au

Booking for Others

If you are booking for someone else, you confirm that each participant has read and agreed to this waiver, and understands the nature of these sessions.

By completing your booking for the event, you confirm that you have read and understood this waiver and agree to the terms above. You acknowledge that you are participating willingly and with personal responsibility for your health and experience.
