The daily schedule will run from early morning till evening and includes:

• Morning movement and meditations on most mornings – exploring moon yoga, qigong, kundalini shake, connection game play, Buteyko breathing, guided meditation and visualisation
• Organic, healthy breakfast buffet choices with all dietaries catered for
• Facilitated transformative morning workshops
• Lunches and dinners together at a variety of locations to sample the incredible local cuisines
• Afternoons to rest and explore the pool/spa/local area - there are beautiful spaces for silence, for walking in the tropical surrounds or local town, swimming, massage, spa treatments and resting. Recharge yourself with the abundant energy of nature.
• Optional restorative evening sessions on some evenings.

My name is Charmaine Dennis. I am the founding director of Fertile Ground Health Group and The Melbourne Apothecary in Melbourne, Australia. I am also a naturopath, author, speaker, yoga teacher, meditator, facilitator, lover and mum.

12 years ago, my busy, passionate life was turned upside down by a sudden diagnosis of cancer - acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. Since my "all clear", I have had to work out how to re-engage with life and my work in a completely new way. Old habits do indeed die hard and it really is true - nothing changes if nothing changes. 

I have run multiple week-long retreats in Bali and facilitated many day immersions held in Melbourne and Byron Bay, Australia. I love creating spaces for transformation for people questioning why they are doing what they are doing, and keen to discover how to move forward in a more authentically connected way, with re-invigorated sense of purpose.

I believe that taking time to slow right down is essential. We need space to reflect deeply and ask beautiful questions of ourselves and each other, to share experience and story and learn that we are not as alone as we can sometimes feel. We need space to listen to our own inner wisdom and discover how we can align our lives to something more authentic and true for us. We need space to feel all the possibility of being alive.

Of all the incredible work that I have done with great passion throughout my career, I love this retreat work the most. It is a total joy for me to be offering it again after the rigors and limitations of the pandemic, especially working alongside my partner Carly Woods. I am thrilled to share it with you.

My name is Carly Woods.  I’m a women's financial health coach and life coach certified through Brooke Castillo's Life Coach School. I'm also co-owner and director of Fertile Ground Health Group and The Melbourne Apothecary, a naturopath, buteyko breathing therapist, speaker, retreat facilitator, surfer, seeker, and wild living-room dancer.

My passion is to help women take control of their lives - financially and emotionally - so that they can feel confident to sculpt their lives into exactly how they want them to be. I believe that qualities inherent in women (nurture, connection, healing) are the keys to restorative change in our world. I also believe that by helping women to satisfy and then surpass their own financial health, the result will be more inspired women who feel financially safe enough to take chances and bold action toward creating a better world in the ways they feel drawn to.

I'm also passionate about teaching and holding space for exploration of beliefs that keep us held captive in unhelpful patterns and behavioural cycles. This mindset work has deep roots in my heart because I spent the majority of my adult life struggling with daily anxiety, panic attacks and overwhelm. This affected my ability to socialise, my confidence in jobs, compromised my personal relationships, and restricted my sense of capacity until I felt suffocated enough to take some serious retraining action (through certifying as a Life Coach and Buteyko therapist). 

Through my own financial and emotional transformations I have uncovered a significant pool of processes, concepts and activities that can be used as anchors by anyone looking to create a better life for themselves. I love sharing these tools with other women who are seeking change.  Over the last few years I’ve facilitated multiple immersive workshops in Byron Bay, Sydney, and Melbourne, spoken twice at NHAA national symposiums on the topic of Buteyko for nervous system rebalancing, and also How to Make More Money as a woman in business (with strategies from my ethical and values based investing experience).

I'm SO EXCITED to continue teaching all of this transformative work with willing  women alongside my wonderful partner, Charmaine.
